Refund & Cancellation Policy
Diamond 7 CDL Academy maintains the following cancellation and refund policy for all enrolled students. Please read this policy carefully before enrolling.
Cancellation Before Classes Begin
- An applicant denied admission by the school is entitled to a full refund of all monies paid.
- An applicant who requests cancellation more than three (3) days after signing an enrollment agreement and making an initial payment, but prior to the first day of class, is entitled to a full refund of all monies paid.
- All refunds will be issued within 30 days of receiving the written notice of cancellation.
Tuition Refund Schedule
After classes have commenced, tuition refunds are calculated based on the percentage of total clock hours the student has attended:
| Clock hours attended (% of total program) | Tuition refund |
|---|---|
| 10% or less | 100% refund |
| More than 10% and up to 20% | 80% refund |
| More than 20% and up to 30% | 70% refund |
| More than 30% and up to 40% | 60% refund |
| More than 40% and up to 50% | 50% refund |
| More than 50% | No refund required |
The percentage of clock hours attended is calculated by dividing the total number of clock hours elapsed from the student’s start date to their last day of attendance by the total number of clock hours in the program.
Non-Refundable Items
Books, training materials, and tools are non-refundable once issued.
Refund Timeline
Refunds will be issued within 30 days of the date of written student notification, or within 30 days of the school’s determination of withdrawal (due to absences or other criteria specified in the School Catalog).
Withdrawal Process
Students who choose to withdraw from a program before or after classes have begun must provide the Director with a signed and dated written cancellation notice. The notice must include the reason for withdrawal and the last date of attendance, verified by an instructor.
